As a university centered on industry-university cooperation, Korea Polytechnic University has carried out various industry-university cooperation programs based on the educational ideologies of creativity and practice." As Korea Polytechnic University was converted into a general university in 2012, it has newly established a graduate school, thus constructing the foundation to pursue education and research of greater significance.
The industry-university cooperation research activities of Korea Polytechnic University are being actively conducted in collaboration with the government and many companies. The graduate school of Korea Polytechnic University concentrates research efforts in competitive fields to implement industry-university research. It strives to create a research environment that conducts industry-university research based on past experiences of performing joint research activities with companies. We endeavor to develop into a school that leads industry-university cooperation by developing the existing industry-university system and strengthening the network with companies in the neighboring region.
Furthermore, the graduate school of Korea Polytechnic University is devoted to the industrialization of knowledge and technology. We endeavor to foster technicians equipped with specialized knowledge to respond to the needs of the advanced industrial society and cultivate the technical manpower required for the development of the regional community and the world.
